12 years!

Today marks 12 years on marriage to the best wife anywhere! It is hard to believe that it has been that long, at this point I have spent a third of my life with Stefanie.

Today started off any other day, Stefanie off to walk training for the 3 day, and I packing the kids in the car. Our first stop, the doctors office for a round of flu shots. When we were leaving I got an emergency page so it was off to the office to help a client. After making quick work at the office the kids and I headed out to the car to get a phone call from my dad Tom. My mother, uncle, and aunt had been hit by a drunk driver last night as they drove back from the airport to visit my grandfather. Spinning, rolling, the jaws-of-life, and then a trip to the emergency room. Thankfully they are, for the most part alright. My aunt was worse for wear and had to go in to surgery to stitch up several major cuts on her head. Everyone should recover fine in the next couple of weeks.

We headed over to Tailwind Flight to help finish up the network. After fighting with Tom’s Dell laptop for an hour, I gave up, since all other network devices were working correctly. Proof once again that Dell laptops suck. Buy a Lenovo (IBM) or Apple, anything else is a waste of money. I convinced my sister (Sarah) to buy an Apple, for a couple of days, but now she loves it, give it a try if you have a chance.

Jakob, Joshua, and I went to the park, took Joshua’s training wheels off and watched him motor around the park. He still needs works on turning and starting, but he has the hang of it. Joshua did take a pretty good header in to the grass.

Stefanie and I are getting ready to head across the street for a Halloween party. This party is pretty outrageous, and always seems to run in to the wee hours of the morning. More on that tomorrow, with pictures.

PS: Progressive finally contacted me yesterday and told me that their insured is 100% liable. Now we just need to get to a price. Bike repairs, doctor bills, time off work, etc.
