Arlington National Cemetery

We took the Vellanis with us today on our adventure. We took a drive around the Pentagon on our way to Arlington. We then visited The Eternal Flame, The Arlington House, and The Tomb of the Unknown Solider. On the way out we saw a horse with the boots backwards in the stirups being lead away from a funeral.

The Vellanis then header home while we took a drive in to DC. After an hour of driving around we then took another lovely drive around the Pentagon on our was to the Teddy Roosevelt Memorial. The Teddy Roosevelt Memorial is an island in the middle of the Potomac, and there was no one there. A great tribute to a great president, too bad more people do not visit it.
